Jeff Wilkinson, Director, President and Chief Executive Officer
 |
Jeff Wilkinson brings more than
18 years of experience as a financial industry/business generalist
with a depth of expertise in finance, business development
and organizational leadership. Until recently, Mr. Wilkinson
served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
of Texas United Bancshares, Inc., a $1.8 billion publicly
traded bank holding company. Together with the CEO, Mr. Wilkinson
played a key role in developing and executing a strategy for
profitable growth that resulted in a 61 percent increase in
the bank holding company’s stock price following his appointment
in July 2005. During his tenure, Mr. Wilkinson was instrumental
in the completion of three acquisitions. In January 2007,
the company was acquired by Prosperity Bancshares, Inc. Jeff
and his wife Kelly have three young children. |

Gary Cooper, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Cooper began his banking career 30 years ago after serving in the Army and graduating from Missouri State University with a BS in accounting. Starting in bank auditing, his background includes extensive management experience in bank operations and mortgage banking in addition to finance and accounting. He has also been heavily involved in the management of several mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Cooper recently was instrumental in helping the CEO guide and manage the growth of a startup bank in Springfield, Missouri, serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Village Bank. He was the Treasurer of the Springfield Community Center and a member of their Executive Committee for over seven years. He and his wife Tonda moved south to enjoy their two grandchildren and the warm Texas winters. |
Dayna McElreath, Senior Vice President

Dayna McElreath joined Pioneer Bank in November 2007 as Senior Vice President. Prior to joining Pioneer Bank, she was at State Bank for over 11 years, where she was President of the Mortgage Division. She was responsible for all aspects of mortgage operations including originations up to $600 million annually and a $400 million Fannie Mae servicing portfolio.
Prior to joining State Bank, Ms. McElreath worked at Bank One as their Mortgage Division Sales Manager from 1991 to 1996. Ms. McElreath received a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Texas in 1985, is married and has one daughter. |
Erin Needham, Senior Vice President - Lending

Mr. Needham serves as Senior Vice President
and Lending Officer of Pioneer Bank. Erin has over ten years
of commercial and real estate lending experience in the Hays
County market. Prior to joining Pioneer Bank, Erin served
as Vice President of Commercial Lending for IBC Bank in Austin.
Prior to IBC, Erin spent 9 years as a Vice President of Lending
for Balcones Bank / Broadway Bank. During this time, Erin
honed his expertise in the areas of interim construction lending,
mortgage banking, and commercial lending. Erin has lived in
Dripping Springs for the past 12 years and is a fourth generation
resident. With ten years of lending experience in the Hays
County market and 12 years residency in Dripping Springs,
he is very knowledgeable of the local real estate market and
the current business climate in our high growth community.
He is committed to building lifelong banking relationships
in Dripping Springs and the surrounding communities. Erin
earned a BBA/Accounting from Texas State University in 1988.
He is married to Stephanie Needham and is the father of two
young children. |
Tammi Carter-Granger, Vice President of Loan Administration

Tammi brings over 20 years of
lending operations experience to Pioneer Bank. Prior to joining
Pioneer Bank, Tammi spent 7 years with State Bank, La Grange,
Texas where she was responsible for the bank’s Austin Mortgage
Production Division daily operations. Tammi is a seasoned
manager and leader and has been instrumental in the successful
launch of several lending branches over her career. Tammi
has lived in the Dripping Springs area for over 15 years and
her children have been students in the Dripping Springs school
district since elementary school. Tammi has been an active
member of the PTA for many years. Tammi is married and has
two children. |
Brian May, Vice President

Brian May serves as Vice President of Pioneer Bank. Brian has over five years of commercial and real estate lending experience in the Austin market. Prior to joining Pioneer Bank, Brian served as Assistant Vice President of Commercial Lending for Citibank in Austin. Brian started his banking career and received his credit training as a Credit Analyst for Wells Fargo. During this time, Brian honed his expertise in the areas of real estate and construction lending and commercial lending. He will be working on expansion of commercial banking activities in Kyle, Buda, and San Marcos. Brian has been actively involved with the Young Men’s Business League of Austin for 4 years. Brian earned a BBA and a Masters in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas. He passed the May 2003 CPA exam. Brian is married to Jovhanna May. |
Lance Spruiell, Assistant Vice President

Lance Spruiell serves as an Assistant Vice President at Pioneer Bank. He brings more than 7 years of combined experience in sales, management and banking to the team. After graduating from Texas State University in 2001, Lance began his career in Marble Falls, TX managing Sportsman’s Country Complete Outfitters. Through this experience Lance began to understand the importance of developing long-term business relationships. He transitioned from Sportsman’s Country into the banking business in 2005 with Security State Bank & Trust. Lance worked as a Loan Officer in both the Kingsland and Spicewood branches for SSB&T. Lance has been an active member of local Rotary groups, Builder’s Associations and sat on the Board of Directors for CASA of Highland Lakes. Lance is an avid outdoorsman and the proud father to a daughter, Hannah. |
Mark D Kesselring, Vice President – Operations

Mark joined Pioneer Bank in June of 2008 to oversee Retail, Operations and Compliance. He began his banking career over 20 years ago, in Springfield, Illinois, where he worked for BankOne, Illinois in various banking center management capacities, including Banking Center Manager in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. In May of 2000, he was hired by State Bank (LaGrange, Texas) to open their de novo banking center in Cedar Park, Texas, which was the 6th banking center in their branch network. Mark served State Bank as a Lobby Operations Manager and as the company made acquisitions and opened new branches, he was promoted to Training Director for the 35 branch system. State Bank was purchased by Prosperity Bancshares in February 2007 and Mark stayed on board as Training Director for the 130 branch system of Prosperity Bank. Mark brings to Pioneer Bank an extensive background in retail operations, security, procedures, compliance and customer service.
Mark spent a year studying at Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, IA and has attended the University of Illinois, Springfield. Mark is currently single and is thoroughly enthralled with his 7 nieces and nephews.
