Jeff Wilkinson   Director, President and Chief Executive Officer

Jeff Wilkinson brings more than 18 years of experience as a financial industry/business generalist with a depth of expertise in finance, business development and organizational leadership. Until recently, Mr. Wilkinson served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Texas United Bancshares, Inc., a $1.8 billion publicly traded bank holding company. Together with the CEO, Mr. Wilkinson played a key role in developing and executing a strategy for profitable growth that resulted in a 61 percent increase in the bank holding company’s stock price following his appointment in July 2005. During his tenure, Mr. Wilkinson was instrumental in the completion of three acquisitions. In January 2007, the company was acquired by Prosperity Bancshares, Inc. Jeff and his wife Kelly have three young children.

Gary Cooper   Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Cooper began his banking career 30 years ago after serving in the Army and graduating from Missouri State University with a BS in accounting.  Starting in bank auditing, his background includes extensive management experience in bank operations and mortgage banking in addition to finance and accounting.  He has also been heavily involved in the management of several mergers and acquisitions.  Mr. Cooper recently was instrumental in helping the CEO guide and manage the growth of a startup bank in Springfield, Missouri, serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Village Bank. He was the Treasurer of the Springfield Community Center and a member of their Executive Committee for over seven years.  He and his wife Tonda moved south to enjoy their two grandchildren and the warm Texas winters.

Joseph Dayoc III Sr. Vice President and Sr. Operations Officer

Joe comes to Pioneer Bank with over 35 years of experience in the banking industry, including internal control and accounting, operations, personnel, and customer service. Most recently Joe served as the Executive Vice President and Senior Operations Officer of The First National Bank of Bryan, a national bank located in Bryan, Texas with approximately $525 million in total assets. During his tenure at The First National Bank of Bryan, areas of Joe’s oversight included accounting, customer service, compliance, security, electronic banking, teller operations (for five branches), information technology and new accounts. Joe also served as secretary to the Board of The First National Bank of Bryan and was a member of both the Asset/Liability Management and Risk Management Committees. Joe chaired the Information Systems Management Committee. Joe earned his Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&I University of Kingsville, Texas and is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Delaware. Joe and his wife, Jackie, have six children and ten grandchildren.

Erin Needham  Sr. Vice President of Lending

Mr. Needham serves as Senior Vice President and Lending Officer of Pioneer Bank. Erin has over ten years of commercial and real estate lending experience in the Hays County market. Prior to joining Pioneer Bank, Erin served as Vice President of Commercial Lending for IBC Bank in Austin. Prior to IBC, Erin spent 9 years as a Vice President of Lending for Balcones Bank / Broadway Bank. During this time, Erin honed his expertise in the areas of interim construction lending, mortgage banking, and commercial lending. Erin has lived in Dripping Springs for the past 12 years and is a fourth generation resident. With ten years of lending experience in the Hays County market and 12 years residency in Dripping Springs, he is very knowledgeable of the local real estate market and the current business climate in our high growth community. He is committed to building lifelong banking relationships in Dripping Springs and the surrounding communities. Erin earned a BBA/Accounting from Texas State University in 1988. He is married to Stephanie Needham and is the father of two young children.

Tammi Carter-Granger  Vice President of Loan Administration

Tammi brings over 20 years of lending operations experience to Pioneer Bank. Prior to joining Pioneer Bank, Tammi spent 7 years with State Bank, La Grange, Texas where she was responsible for the bank’s Austin Mortgage Production Division daily operations. Tammi is a seasoned manager and leader and has been instrumental in the successful launch of several lending branches over her career. Tammi has lived in the Dripping Springs area for over 15 years and her children have been students in the Dripping Springs school district since elementary school. Tammi is married and has two children.

Brian May   Vice President

Brian May serves as Vice President of Pioneer Bank. Brian has over five years of commercial and real estate lending experience in the Austin market. Prior to joining Pioneer Bank, Brian served as Assistant Vice President of Commercial Lending for Citibank in Austin. Brian started his banking career and received his credit training as a Credit Analyst for Wells Fargo. During this time, Brian honed his expertise in the areas of real estate and construction lending and commercial lending. He will be working on expansion of commercial banking activities in Kyle, Buda, and San Marcos. Brian has been actively involved with the Young Men’s Business League of Austin for 4 years. Brian earned a BBA and a Masters in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas. He passed the May 2003 CPA exam. Brian is married to Jovhanna May.

Lance Spruiell  Vice President

Lance Spruiell serves as a Vice President at Pioneer Bank.  He brings more than 7 years of combined experience in sales, management and banking to the team.  After graduating from Texas State University in 2001, Lance began his career in Marble Falls, TX managing Sportsman’s Country Complete Outfitters.  Through this experience Lance began to understand the importance of developing long-term business relationships.  He transitioned from Sportsman’s Country into the banking business in 2005 with Security State Bank & Trust. Lance worked as a Loan Officer in both the Kingsland and Spicewood branches for SSB&T.  Lance has been an active member of local Rotary groups, Builder’s Associations and sat on the Board of Directors for CASA of Highland Lakes.  Lance is an avid outdoorsman and the proud father to a daughter, Hannah.

Bryan St. George   Vice President

Bryan St. George serves the Pioneer Bank community as Vice President. Bryan began his financial ventures with a B.S. in Financial Real Estate from San Diego State University. Starting in residential lending, his experiences include secondary market mortgage loans, asset based lending, equity placement, and commercial finance. Bryan worked as VP of commercial and residential lending at a boutique financial firm in San Diego, CA. From that position, he started his own real estate company specializing in the private placement of funds for non-traditional borrowers focusing on single-family developers. Prior to joining the ranks at Pioneer, Bryan held the position of Financial Specialist at Wachovia Bank. Bryan is married to Jenny St. George and living in central Austin.

Russ Huebner  Assistant Vice President

Russell Huebner began his banking career seven years ago after graduating from Texas Tech University. He spent five and a half years with Wells Fargo bank serving in the roles of personal banker, assistant branch manager, and business banker. Most recently he served as Assistant Vice President of business banking for JPMorgan Chase Bank in the New Braunfels, TX area for the last year and a half. Russell will be working to expand commercial banking activities in the Kyle, Buda, and San Marcos areas as well as leading the marketing, business development, and product development roles for Pioneer Bank. He currently serves on the Strategic Development and Finance Committee for the City of Kyle where he lives with his wife and daughter.

Doug LeBlanc   Assistant Vice President

Doug LeBlanc serves the Pioneer Bank community as Assistant Vice President.  He comes to Pioneer with 13 years of sales, manufacturing, and commercial lending experience.  After five years in the US Navy, Doug graduated from Louisiana Tech University, and moved to California to pursue a career with a bicycle manufacturing company.  He has spent the past 9 years as a SBA Lending Business Development Officer.  Doug began his lending career with Wachovia Bank’s Small business Capital Group in Roseville, CA.  As a National Accounts Manager, he specialized in professional real estate, change of ownership, and start-up financing.  Doug and his family relocated to Austin in 2006 with Wachovia Bank.  He spent the next 4 years developing Wachovia, and Wells Fargo’s SBA footprint throughout South Texas.  Before joining Pioneer, Doug opened a national lending office for Quadrant Financial in Austin.  Doug and his wife Samantha have one young daughter, CoCo.

Jeremiah Pizaña   Assistant Vice President

Jeremiah Pizaña serves as Assistant Vice President of Pioneer Bank and has been in banking for over 9 years. Jeremiah has over three years of commercial and real estate lending experience in the San Marcos and Hill Country market. Prior to joining Pioneer Bank, Jeremiah served as Relationship Banking Officer for Frost Bank in San Marcos. He started his banking career at IBC Bank as a teller, moving to Frost Bank where he ultimately received his credit analyst training as a Associate Relationship Manager. He will be the commercial banker for San Marcos and surrounding Hill Country. Jeremiah has been actively involved with the Rotary Club of Greater San Marcos, Leadership San Marcos, San Marcos Chamber of Commerce, Texas State University, and with his church. He earned a BBA in Finance from Texas State University. Jeremiah is married to Donna Pizaña and they have three daughters.
